Summary

Maintaining natural limestone and shellstone in Florida's coastal climate requires specialized care, especially when heavy moisture and stains collect under covered lanais and outdoor kitchens. For this custom pool deck built by Tom Sanger Pools on Anna Maria Island, severe moisture staining had set into the stone. Riverside Paver Sealing safely eliminated 99% of the staining using zero chlorine and zero acids, preserving the stone while providing long-lasting protection.

The Work

Eliminated 99% of deep-set moisture staining using specialized stone-safe chemistry (zero chlorine, zero acids)
Deep-cleaned and neutralized the limestone and shellstone pool deck without etching or surface degradation
Re-sanded joints with fine silica sand for stabilization
Applied a breathable two-stage limestone nano sealer to defend against future coastal moisture intrusion

The Outcome

The deck underwent a 99% moisture stain eradication, restoring the bright, natural aesthetic crafted by Tom Sanger Pools. By avoiding harsh acids and chlorine, the natural stone's structural integrity remains uncompromised, backed by breathable nano-sealer defense against Florida's humidity and coastal elements.
